FAQs

  • Leadership coaching is a one‑to‑one partnership that is focused entirely on helping you to work through your challenges and towards your goals. It based on three key beliefs: positive regard, belief in your potential, and curiosity.

It differs from other developmental methods.

    • Unlike mentoring, I won’t simply give you advice—I’ll ask strategic questions to help you discover your own solutions.

    • Unlike training, there’s no fixed curriculum or slide deck—each session adapts to what matters most to you in the moment.

    • And while therapy looks at healing past wounds, coaching is forward‑focused: we work on building the skills, self-belief, and strategies you need to lead with more clarity, confidence and ease.

  • Anyone who leads—or aspires to lead—people, projects, or change. Common clients include:

    • Aspiring leaders exploring or preparing for their first leadership role—wanting to build confidence and clarity before stepping up.

    • New managers in their early months on the job, eager to get practical guidance and avoid common pitfalls.

    • Experienced leaders facing bigger scope, rapid growth, or organisational change who need fresh perspective.

    • Unofficial or emerging influencers (project leads, community organisers, SME founders) driving impact without formal authority.

    • Values‑led changemakers in mission‑driven sectors who want to lead with both purpose and pragmatism.

  • A leadership coach can help you tackle the real‑world tensions and hurdles that hold you back. Common challenges include:

    • Navigating Transitions
New role, team restructure or fast‑moving project? Get clear on priorities, expectations and how to hit the ground running.

    • Stepping Up
Moving from peer to manager or taking on more scope? Build the confidence, habits and mindset shifts you need to lead effectively.

    • Feeling Stuck or Overwhelmed
Doubt, indecision or lack of direction can stall you. We’ll pinpoint what’s blocking you and map out concrete next steps.

    • Managing Tricky Dynamics
Difficult conversations, team conflict or stakeholder tension? Learn frameworks and strategies to steer relationships toward positive outcomes.

    • Developing Your Authentic Style
Tired of one‑size‑fits‑all “best practices”? Unearth the leadership approach that aligns with your values and strengths.

    • Building Core Skills
From clear communication and boundary‑setting to tough decision‑making, we’ll focus on the practical skills you need right now.

    • Handling Pressure & Burnout
When the stakes are high, stress mounts. We’ll work on resilience, self‑care routines and systems to sustain your performance.

    • Creating Space to Think
Always in “do” mode? Coaching gives you structured time to pause, reflect, strategize and see the bigger picture.

  • Leadership coaching might be right for you if you:

    • Feel stuck or overwhelmed by a new role, project, or team dynamic

    • Sense something needs to shift but aren’t sure what or where to start

    • Have a clear goal—a promotion, a presentation, a restructure—but need a plan and accountability to get there

    • Want space to think without the pressure to have all the answers

    • Crave honest feedback and strategic questions rather than advice or lectures

    • Value a forward‑focused, action‑oriented partnership to build the skills and confidence you need

If any of this resonates, coaching could be exactly what you need. The best way to find out is a zero‑pressure intro call—no obligation, just a conversation to see if we’re a match.

  • You’ll see clarity and momentum from the very first session. Lasting change generally requires ongoing practice—hence our 1‑, 3‑, 6‑, 9‑ or 12‑month packages—but most clients report tangible shifts within 4–6 sessions.

The degree of success is often dependent on the trust between the coach and coachee and the coachee’s commitment to the process. This is why my services are bundled into packages of several sessions. It takes time.

  • My role is to support your accountability by helping you clarify and commit to meaningful action steps—while the real progress comes from you. Here’s how we partner to keep you moving forward:

    Built‑in Accountability

    • Action steps: Each session ends with 1–3 clear commitments you choose.

    • Progress review: We start every call by celebrating wins and addressing any roadblocks.

    • Between‑session check‑ins: If you’d like, I’m available for brief email or text support to maintain momentum.

    Emergency & Extra Support

    • Emergency Deep‑Dive: A 90 min session (capped at 2 slots/month) for rapid, focused help on high‑stakes challenges.

    • Quick support: Send a short message for small tweaks or clarifications—I’ll respond as my schedule allows.

    Adjusting Your Commitment

    • If your needs change, we can pause, extend, or reshape your package at any time—just let me know so our work always aligns with your goals.

⚙️ How We Work

  • I offer three core formats—each designed for different timelines and intensity levels:

    • Short‑Term Intensives

      • 1‑Month (4 sessions), 2‑Month (8 sessions), or 3‑Month (12 sessions)

      • Weekly 60 min sessions focused on one pressing challenge or goal—ideal when you need rapid momentum and clear action plans.

    • 🌱 Longer‑Term Partnerships

      • 3 Month (6 sessions), 6 Month (12 sessions), 9 Month (18 sessions), or 12 Month (24 sessions)

      • Bi‑weekly 60 min sessions for sustained growth, habit‑building, and tackling complex or multiple goals over time.

    • 🚨 Emergency Deep‑Dive

      • A single 90 min session at 1.5× your per‑session rate

      • When you’re in crisis mode or facing a high‑stakes moment and need fast, in‑depth clarity and next steps.

  • Leadership coaching is often priced at a premium—reserved for senior executives and well‑funded organisations—leaving many capable leaders shut out. I believe great coaching should be within reach for any leader, at any stage, so I offer a sliding scale (€60–€200/session) with no proof required. Choose the rate that fits your means and needs.

    Why do I do this?

    • Fairness: Coaching shouldn’t be limited to those with big budgets. A sliding scale makes it affordable for a broader range of leaders.

    • Mutual trust: No paperwork or pay‑slips required. You choose your rate, and I honour that choice—laying the foundation for an open, straightforward partnership between us.

    • Focus on impact: My priority is the results we achieve together, not your salary bracket. When more leaders have access to coaching, we all benefit from stronger, more inclusive leadership.

This sliding‑scale model is one step toward a more equitable, values‑driven practice—because leadership support should meet you where you are, not where someone decided you should be.

  • Yes—I reward longer-term commitments with straightforward, tiered discounts:

    • Short‑Term Intensives:

      • 1‑Month (4 sessions): full rate

      • 2‑Month (8 sessions): 5 % off

      • 3‑Month (12 sessions): 10 % off

    • Longer‑Term Partnerships:

      • 3 Month (6 sessions): full rate

      • 6 Month (12 sessions): 5 % off

      • 9 Month (18 sessions): 10 % off

      • 12 Month (24 sessions): 15 % off

Bundles not only lock in regular, structured support but also give you a better per‑session rate over time. There’s no discount on one‑off or emergency sessions—those are priced to reflect their immediate, high‑intensity nature.

    • VAT: I’m currently not required to be VAT‑registered, so the prices you see are final—no VAT added.

    • If you need an alternative payment method or have any questions about billing, simply let me know during our intro call or drop me a note.

  • All fees are quoted in EUR. You’ll receive an invoice at booking (for your first‑session hold or package deposit), which is payable on receipt (or within 7 days), depending on the arrangement we agree.

📦 Packages & Pricing

  • Your fee covers our 1:1 time plus up to two brief email or text check‑ins between sessions, any session summary notes I send, and the use of any frameworks or resources we agree on.

    • Book a free intro call (30 min). Click “Let’s Talk” to connect with me and arrange a time for an intro call—no obligation, no sales pitch.

    • Clarify fit and goals. In that call, we’ll discuss what’s on your plate, how I work, and which package aligns with your needs.

    • Agree next steps. If it feels right, I’ll send you a simple welcome email with a link to schedule our first 60 min session.

    • First session (contracting & goal‑setting). We’ll co‑design our coaching agreement—confirming your objectives, success criteria, session cadence, confidentiality, and roles—so we start with full clarity.

    • I coach part‑time around a full‑time role, so my regular hours are mornings (7–9 am), evenings (6–9 pm), and select weekends.

    • Once you’ve booked your package, you’ll receive a link to my calendar showing all available slots—just pick what works for you.

  • All remote sessions are fully covered in your fee. If we agree to an in‑person session, any reasonable travel or room‑hire costs will be outlined up front and added separately.

    • 24 hrs’ notice let’s you reschedule without penalty—just use the booking link or drop me a quick email.

    • Late changes (under 24 hrs) or no‑shows incur a reduced fee (50 % of session cost), which we’ll confirm in our contracting call.

    • If you anticipate a string of schedule conflicts, let’s discuss a more flexible arrangement or pause until things settle.

    • Mutual fit: At any point, you or I can pause or end our coaching if it’s not serving you—no hard feelings.

    • Right to discharge: I also reserve the right to discontinue our work if agreed‑upon commitments aren’t met (for example, repeated no‑shows, lack of engagement with action steps, or non‑payment).

    • Right to refer: I recognise my own scope and limitations. If I believe another developmental approach—like mentoring, training, or clinical therapy—would better serve your situation, I’ll tell you so and recommend qualified professionals or resources.

    • Fair closure: Should we part ways, any unused prepaid sessions will be pro‑rated and refunded, or you can opt to roll them into a future package.

This ensures fairness on both sides and keeps our partnership grounded in the shared commitment to your progress.

  • I review fees annually and will give at least 6 weeks’ notice of any rate changes. Any sessions you’ve already booked remain at the rate we agreed when you signed up.

📅 Logistics & Policies

  • I’m EMCC‑accredited and abide by their Code of Ethics (and align with ICF standards), which cover:

    • Clear boundaries (no dual relationships, no undisclosed conflicts of interest)

    • Competence & ongoing development (regular supervision, professional development, and self‑reflection)

    • Integrity & transparency (honest communication about process, fees, and any limitations)

    • If you ever have concerns about ethics or professionalism, you can raise them directly with me—or, if unresolved, through EMCC’s official channels for independent review.

    • Your privacy is paramount. Everything you share in our sessions stays strictly between us—no notes, recordings, or personal details are disclosed without your explicit permission.

    • Supervision & learning. To maintain high standards, I engage in regular coaching supervision. In those sessions I may share anonymized, non‑identifying details (no names, specific organisations, or sensitive data) to reflect on my practice and ensure you get the best support.

    • Data security. Any session notes or materials are stored securely—encrypted or password‑protected—and deleted or archived according to best practice in data protection.

    • Exception to confidentiality. If you disclose an intention to harm yourself or others, or to commit a serious crime, I am legally and ethically required to take appropriate action, which may include alerting relevant authorities.

    • Raise it directly: If something doesn’t feel right—pace, focus, tone—please tell me in our next session or via email. I welcome honest feedback and will adjust immediately.

    • Escalation path: If we can’t resolve your concern together, I’m happy to facilitate an introduction to an EMCC‑approved mentor or peer‑coach for mediation or a second opinion.

    • No‑question refund: Should you choose to end our work due to unresolved ethical or fit issues, any unused, prepaid sessions will be refunded in full—no debate, no fine print.
