👋🏻 Welcome

👋🏻 Welcome -
I’m Sarah.
I’m a leadership coach, facilitator, trainer, and learning and development consultant. I started my career in the tech industry and have spent over a decade working in people development, leadership, management, and team effectiveness.
What the hell does that mean? Good question.
It means I’ve spent my career helping people in organisations build the human skills that underpin great leadership and improve how teams communicate, collaborate, and function.
My particular focus is leadership. Why?
Because there’s little more important to our personal and collective wellbeing than the quality of the leadership around us. In the microcosms of our lives — at work, in communities, in politics — so much is shaped by how people lead.
And yet, over the course of my career, I’ve noticed a pattern. We talk about leadership constantly — but we rarely engage with the messy reality of what it takes to actually be a good leader. There’s a lot of high-flown theory. A lot of hollow definitions of “success.” A lot of ‘gurus’ who offer vague advice. But there’s very little real support. Very little space to ask, “How do I do this in a way that feels right, sustainable, and true to who I am?”
That’s where coaching comes in.
I don’t offer formulas or fixes. I offer space. Space to step back, reflect on the challenges you face in your role, make sense of what’s going on, and take steps forward to resolve or manage challenges.
My credentials
-
I’ve been an accredited member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council since 2021 at ‘Practitioner’ level.
-
I studied Personal, Leadership and Executive Coaching in Kingstown College and achieved a Distinction grade (2021). This course was accredited by the EMCC and the ICF (International Coaching Federation).
-
I hold a First Class Honours Master’s degree (M.Sc) in Work and Organisational Behaviour from DCU — a programme also known as the M.Sc in Organisational Psychology.
As part of my studies, I explored a range of topics including organisational psychology, leadership, coaching, strategy, and behaviour in the workplace. My thesis, which received an ‘A’ grade, examined the lived experiences and challenges of middle managers — offering insight into the pressures and expectations they face from both above and below.
-
As part of my qualification with Kingstown College, I also achieved a QQI certification in Professional Coaching Practice and Ethics (2021).
-
In my most recent full-time position, I lead several leadership programmes. One of these included a multi-month programme to up-skill first-line leaders in performance coaching skills.
-
I worked as a full-time leadership coach and strategist during my time at Indeed. I created and led a 1:1 leadership coaching programme for nearly 2 years in which I coached 70+ leaders on their leadership goals.
Who I Work With
-
You’ve recently stepped into a leadership role and are facing the day-to-day realities of leading people, making decisions, and holding more responsibility than ever before.
It’s exciting — and sometimes overwhelming.
You might be navigating feedback, team dynamics, or simply figuring out how to manage all the expectations coming at you.
Coaching gives you a space to think things through, build confidence, and make intentional choices as you grow into this next stage of your work.
-
You’ve been doing this for a while. The stakes are higher, the pace is faster, and the complexity just keeps building.
You know what you’re doing — but that doesn’t mean it’s easy.
You might be juggling people, politics, strategy, and self-doubt — all in a single day.
Coaching offers a rare moment to step back, breathe, and make space for deeper reflection and growth.
-
You’re influencing people and outcomes — even if you don’t have the official title yet.
You might be leading projects, shaping team culture, or stepping into more visible roles.
Maybe you’re being seen as a leader by others, and now you’re starting to see it in yourself.
Coaching gives you space to reflect, strengthen your voice, and develop your leadership on your own terms — without pressure to fit someone else’s mould.
-
You’re working toward something that matters — whether in your organisation, your community, or a mission-driven space.
You care deeply about how things are done, not just what gets done. And while that purpose keeps you going, it can also be exhausting to hold so much.
You may be navigating systems that resist change, or facing tension between your values and your environment.
Coaching offers space to stay connected to what matters, find support in the hard parts, and keep going in ways that feel sustainable.
What We Work On
Navigating change — new roles, restructures, fast-moving teams, or shifting priorities
Stepping up — taking on more responsibility or shifting from peer to manager
Feeling stuck — questioning your impact, confidence, or direction
Managing tricky dynamics — with your team, your boss, or peers
Wanting to lead differently — in ways that are more human, values-led, and sustainable
Building core skills — like communicating clearly, setting boundaries, or making tough calls
Processing hard stuff — burnout, feedback wobbles, or the pressure to have all the answers
Creating space to think — away from the day-to-day noise, to get clearer on what matters
My coaching approach
🧠 Evidence-Based & Experienced.
I bring 10+ years in leadership, learning and team development, backed by a Master’s in Organisational Psychology. Everything I do is rooted in research, best practice and hard‑won experience.
🔄 Coaching That Adapts to You.
No one‑size‑fits‑all here. We work with your current reality—your challenges, capacity and context. I take a holistic view and tailor every conversation to what’s actually on your plate.
🔍 Reflective, Not Prescriptive.
I won’t tell you what to do. Instead I’ll ask the right questions, help you think more clearly, and support you in making decisions that feel right for you and your situation.
🤝 A Judgement-Free Partnership.
This isn’t about saying the right things or showing up as a “perfect” leader. Bring your uncertainty, questions, and doubt. I’ll meet you with curiosity and honesty — and we’ll work it through together.
✊ Values-Led & Ethically Grounded.
Leadership is challenging—but it shouldn't mean losing yourself or diminishing others. I support you to lead with care, integrity, and awareness of the impact you have on others — and yourself.
🎯 Success on Your Terms.
I’ll help you to define what you truly want—big or small—and go after it. I won’t do the work for you, but I’ll stretch your limits, call you out when you play small, and back you every step of the way.
